>Thanks Ramon,
>thanks for the reply on the forum, I am going to try this, but I think that maybe my radio may be damaged!
> I was looking last night at some of the writting on the back of the radio. It is very faint, but I found the part with the "tonabnehmer".
>There are 2 pins there, one of the pins has a small symbol on the back-plate like a "circle with a line going into it". This is the same symbol as what is shown above the buttons (L + M). Similar to yours.

>>> I guess the M should be K... But these are the pins to connect the external appliance to.

>It is very strange because this pin does not have anything attached to it, so I don't understand how it would work. I think this may be damaged?

>>>At my radio this pin is connected to a condenser of 5000 Pf, 250 Volts which is connected again to a point at the back of the "K" switch. (The point that it is connected to you can find by taking the middle one of the brown plastic pieces. As seen from the back it is the third connection from the bottom at the right side... You best put the radio with the front down at the table to see this.)

> The other pin has a another small symbol (a line with a another line at 90 degrees - like the earth symbol). This one it connected directly to one of the valves.

>>> OK, mine is the same.

>As you can see there is a plug on the back of the radio, and I cannot really see there the cables are comming from or there the terminals plug into. DO you have any ideas of what it is?

>>> This plug is from the internal antenna. you should plug it in in the top two holes of the antenna entrance. The backboard shows a picture of a loop connecting these two holes.

Is this the plug I have to use, it doesnt have any label! When you take it off the radio signal cuts off, but it is still possible to hear some noises, so I was thinking maybe it was the internal aerial?

>>> Yes, as mentioned before it is an antenna.

>I think I will take a picture and I will send it to you, maybe your radios are similar and you can tell straight away where to connect to.
>There is also a warning label saying "Use only with a DIM- Norm Tonhabnehmer".
>
>You said in the forum note, that I can find the plug with the bromtoon; Once I have found it, this will be one of the wires I plug the source into, what about there other cable from the source, do I connect it to the earth?

>>> You will have to connect them to the radio both!!! The plug that is not connected to anything in your radio is the one that should get the signal and that should make the "bromtoon". The other one that is connected straight to a valve is the one to connect the other cable with.

>Let me know what you think, I am really eager to get the radio working properly.
>Thanks for you help.
>Gonzalo

>>> I hope the pictures are good enough for you! Ramon
