(fout) meten AZ1 met AVO-160- Resultaat met MK4 (Algemeen)

Hi everyone!

For some reason AVO made changes in their VCM163 that makes the 30mA and 60mA measurements for diodes/rectifiers differ from those on any of their other AVO VCM series of testers. The two resistors used in the 30 & 60mA ranges differs from the values they should have to make similar results compared to the other AVO VCMs.

You can read more about the internal circuit design in a document that I wrote a few years ago and published here: AVO VCMs - Circuit Comparisons The document was too large for the UKVRRR website so I had to split it into several parts.

Please do read the whole document as that will show you how the different circuits for all of the measurements work inside the AVO VCMs, and some more interesting information, but the information on the difference between the VCM163 and other VCMs for the D/R measurements can be found in chapter 3.3.
