Hi,

I did check some scales and the last portion varies, some are almost identical on both ends and some vary between 0.5mm up to 1mm. It is the same on the CT160 scales that I have.

One more point is that the 50 line is very seldom straight up on these scales.

AVO had special documents on how to draw scales and there were some discussions over at http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/index.php how scales were drawn with certain points that were measured on the meter and the rest was then drawn with these measured points as ground for the rest of the scale. This will mean that the scale for each meter is adjusted to that specific meter and can't be moved to another meter without measurement errors.
