I see you have a pair of that amazing RA17 radios, very nice !
When I go to NL or UK I want to test one Wadley Loop design, total amazing.

About the R+S: I am self a spezialist for press brake, laser cut, sheet metal working. So the restoration of the case will be a no problem. More problem is to run the radio, this is not my job, but my hobby
