Dear Friends
I am facing a problem with the KW band of the above radio set. The KW band is not working. On checking I found that the Contact " 10i - 10k is not showing continuity when the KW band button is pressed. The secondary of the Oscillator coil for the KW band gets connected through this contact to the Triode grid of the valve ECH81. I want to have advice as to how I can check this contact which is below the terminal tag of the MW,KW,UKW bands. It is very difficult to remove the terminal plate which has so many connections. I am attaching a photo which shows this assembly.

Your problem is a common problem.
there is a risk that you will do more harm to your radio when you will remove the terminal plate.
in this situation there is no possibility to clean this contacts by mechanical brushing.
a solotion could be cleaning or spraying with a syringe with a long needle if you can reach this contacts from the side.
the chemicals that you should use have to be agressive enough to clean the contact but without desroying other parts.
so you must only spraying this contacts (if possible) , a chemical that you can use , if available in your country is trichlorethylene , this is a toxic chemical but will do the job.
