I asked my friend to send me pictures of the inside of the radio to really see what it is.

The inside frame of a 209U and a Siera 104U is a little bit a look-alike.
Please ask him to sent a picture of the type plate of his radio. By the way, the typeplate of the Siera S104U is situated on te bottom of the radio as you see and not at the back cover as usual.
