Dear Members

Normally in the tuning indicator EM4 - the two anodes are connected through 1M ohm resistances from the HT. But in this radio set one anode is connected through 1 M ohm resistance and the second anode is connected through R76-2.2M ohm which is further connected to the junction of R35 & C83. R35 is 82K ohm. What is the advantage of this arrangement?
