Dear Forum Members

In the radio set BX798X dual volume control has been used. The first one is 0.65M + 0.2M ( R44+ R45) and the second one is 0.275M + 0.075M (R54 & R55). The volume control R54 & R55 is not available. If I use a 2M + 0.65M volume control in place of 0.275M+0.075M then how it will effect the performance of the set? Similarly if a higher value volume control is used in place of 0.65M + 0.2M how it is going to effect? What is the use of the resistance R51?
