Hi.

I have this UGT Philips and I would like to know what is the primary impedance, or which valve uses this transformer.

Many thanks in advance.

Side 1 due to thick wires should be secondary.

Is primair indeed with a tap?
Date code PL 114 , so week 11 of 1964
Could be week 11 1974 but if High impedance should be more 1964.
Look for Pick-Up schematics that period.

A3 573 is a seemly high number So think a transistor amp.
F.i. Like the AG4131 But that has a code A3 499 26.
Due to pcb mounting high number , I think Transistor output.

In the final days of the old coding system, it seems they have used whatever code subgroups that were still unused. A3 154 99 was probably the last output transformer within the originally allocated space, and that number would have been issued in the early 1960's).

I have both this transformer and a backplate for the AG7600 in the A3 573 subgroup. I've unoficially named such subgroups "vol = vol" which is really a bad reference but it conveys the message of what I think was happening at the time. The old system was full for practical intents and purposes and they were awaiting the new 12NC system that was introduced gradually from 1963 on.

The PL114 date code could, given the context, only realistically point to 1964 week 11 or 1971 week 14. A some point in time in the mid 1960's, they switched the system around from WWY to YWW.

Thanks Maurice.
The UGT was from a tube radio.

Made in Leuven, 1964, week 11.

A3 573 80.0 was used in (likely amongst several other models) the B3X42A/04.

Many thanks Maarten.
I now know that UGT was used with an ECL86.

Best regards.
