Hi,

You need a transformer to convert the assymetric signal from the antenna to the symmetrical signal needed for the radio. Try to find an old transformer. You can find it in old Television sets. Use the VHF transformer. In old televesion sets the antena input is symmetrical as well but the tuner input is symmetrical. So there is a transformer at the input. If you can't find just connect the signal wire of the coax cable to one of the antenna inputs and connects the coax shield to the radio chasis. Connect a wire of approximately 3 meters long to the other antenna input. Just hang on this cable behind the radio if possible as cloce as possible to an earth surface like your heater or somethink else. But donot make a galvanic connection. The capacitieve coupling does the job.

Regards.
