Dear colleagues:
Iīm residing in Venezuela and own a beautiful 1959 or 1960 wooden cabinet Philips multiband radio (Model F5X67A02 / chassis B385) with turntable in the top compartiment. This device was functioning very well on our former koffee farm, until 5 years ago something went (and sounded) wrong: moisture and some aging caused minor damage in tuning mechanism (pulleys, springs and strips). Capacitors also passed away, along with tubes and the "magic eye". The fact is that nothing is functioning more inside. So it comes the time for me (as electronic-electrician) to restorate this yewelry, a challenge got from my wife...I feel impelled to comply! But all our traditional electronic device stores closed many years ago so I canīt find here anything older than transistors in Venezuela, nevermind the so needed schematics. Philips reduced its operation in Venezuela to a chain of resellers and some executive and a relatively small head office in Caracas, mainly oriented to high tech :-(
After looking deep into Internet, I got your forum. Can someone of the kind gentlemans of this formum give me a certain hint on how to get the schematics for this radio?
Would some of you like e-pictures of it, that I took recently?
Thanking in advance,

Sven-Christian Kirschstein
Caracas
