Roland, it wasn't me! 
Jac helped me a lot in the process of testing the can. Unfortunately I didn't succeed.
Buizen, a friend here used a regular PC monitor circuit board to generate the 25KV needed for the CRT. It worked perfect. If you want more details, just let me know.
If you are not a purist and just want the set to work, you can do that.
