Hi Nico,

You are right - I should have mentioned this:

The exact dimensions are of no importance.
You just mark a rotation of 15° and make something that stays in position (hence the hook) and has the variable capacitor rotated at 15° when snug against the tool.
You see that I filed some off the piece of aluminum to adjust it to the correct angle of the variable capacitor.
