John Hupse overleden (Algemeen)

Dear Forum members

It is shocking news to me on hearing the passing away of Mr. John Hupse. It is a great loss to all of us. I have been associated with him from many years and he had been always very helpful whenever I asked for any help during the restoration of vintage radios. I think without his help I would not have been what I am today. With his help I could understand the theory and the practical aspects of repairing vintage radios specially Philips. I also used to send personal messages to him and he was always very prompt in sending his reply. Though I live in Bangalore India he was kind enough to give his explanations in english. I feel it is a personal loss to me. I pay my sincere condolences to his bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace.
