Grundig 97 (Techniek Radio/TV)

Hi. Further progress has been made on the 97 radio, I have found that when it is switched to ukw, the audio amplifier seems to be disconnected (no hiss or noise from the speaker, normally there should be a loud noise heard in the loudspeaker when the volume control terminal is touched, but this only happens when the radio is switched to the a.m bands. Can anyone help, please?
